Heda Stone Quarry 戸田石丁場
long stone with a flag marking on the end
A large cut stone with the flag and number 2 marking on the end. These large, long stones were often used for the corner stones in stone walls. The kokuin marking was placed on the end so they would be easy to identify when they're lined up for transportation or use on the construction site.
