Itadafuru-yashiki was a fortified manor hall and satellite fortification of Hakoyanagijō. The castellan may have been a vassal of the Hakoyanagi-Nakane Clan then. Folklore also associates the site with the Amano and Sakai clans.

Visit Notes

Itadafuru-yashiki is a former medieval fortified residence site in Itada Township, Okazaki Municipality. The locale, now rice paddies and a small collection of homes, is called Yashita, meaning 'below the house', which could be a reference to the old manor hall. No ruins remain.
