Nakazawa Castle (Minochi)
From Jcastle.info
History
Nakazawa Castle appears on old maps and once possessed dorui (earthen ramparts) and a moat. The moat measured 55m by 40m in a simple rectangular layout. It was at least two meters deep. The site has only been partially excavated. Nakazawajō became a satellite fortification of nearby Kuritajō.
Visit Notes
I came to the (former) site of Nakazawajō as part of my afternoon castle walk in Nagano City on the way from Minochi Hirabayashi Castle to Kurita Castle. No ruins remain.
