Futta Castle (Suwa)
From Jcastle.info
History
Futtajō was the fortified residence of the Futta Clan. Futtajō likely existed from at least the Muromachi period; the Futta Clan participated in the battle of Ôtō in 1400. Archaeological excavations were carried out before the construction of a museum, revealing the layout of structures.
Visit Notes
Futtajō is now the site of the Yatsuǵatake Museum in the Toyohira Township (the nearest settlement is the hamlet of Oniba) of Chino Municipality, and no ruins remain beyond the shape of the plateau on which the fort sat.
