Visit Notes
Iwade-yashiki is a medieval fortified residence site in an area of Yamanashi Municipality which was formerly part of the medieval Iwade Estate. It is now the site of homes and a small temple. There is some raised earth around the temple and between homes which is thought to be the remains of the dorui (earthen ramparts) that ran around the residence.
