Kitagejou Fort
From Jcastle.info
History
Kitagejō-rui is thought to have been built by the Oyamada Clan, and as such it is also referred to as the Oyamada-yashiki. About 10m of dorui (earthen ramparts) remain, but the site is thought to have had ramparts in a square formation of about 60m-100m on each side. The date of construction is unknown. See also Kitagejou Yashiki, presumed to be a related site.
Visit Notes
Only a sorry clump of earth remains of Kitagejō-rui, a fortified residence.
