Kouka Saburo Yashiki
From Jcastle.info
History
Kōka Saburo is a name, and thus it is presumed such a person built the Kōka-Saburo-yashiki, though it is not known who this mysterious figure was. It's possible he is just a personification of local legend, since 'Saburo' is a sort of generic name, like 'Tarō', and the area is called Kōka. There is a belief that the yashiki was a branch residence of the Tsuchiya Clan controlled between the Muromachi and Sengoku periods.
Visit Notes
Kōka-Saburo-yashiki is a yashiki (fortified residence) site in the Kōka locale of Yatsushiro Township in Fuefuki Municipality, Yamanashi Prefecture. No ruins remain. The site is just south of Shingetsuin, a comely temple. The smell of plum blossoms was in the air!
