Mochizuki Shimoyashiki

The Kōgi-tei, a pavilion at the Zōzan Shrine, was previously part of the shimoyashiki ('Lower Residence') of Mochiźuki Mondo, an upperclass samurai and karō (chief retainer) of Matsushiro Domain. I've been by here twice now but I've not seen it open to the public. The structure has two storeys and ceramic rooftiles, and its appearance is quite opulent, not too dissimilar to those found at the nearby Sanada-tei.
