Sakasou Castle (Mikawa)
From Jcastle.info
History
Sakasōjō was the residence of Tsuźuki Hidesato. Hidesato was originally a vassal of the Imagawa Clan from Ōmi, but switched to serving Tokugawa Ieyasu in 1568 during the latter's invasion of Ōmi. In 1575 he fought in the battle of Nagashino.
Visit Notes
Sakasōjō is a former fortification site in Sakasō Township on the outskirts of suburban Okazaki where residential sprawl gives way to fields. Unfortunately, the sprawl managed to reach Sakasōjō, and now the site is housing with no ruins remaining.
